Eaindra - poet (Myanmar)

Eaindra is taking part in the workshop "Violent Memories - Transformation and Trauma" in Yangon/Myanmar in April 2017 which is an collaboration of the Sylt Foundation and the Burma-based electronic arts journal Be Untexed.

Eaindra, whose real name is Ohnmar Thaung Tin, was born on 30 December 1973. Her poems featured in a poetry anthology titled Sobs from the Neem Road (1993), Inner Virodhi (poem, Cherry Magazine, 1996), and Transplant Therapy (short story, Cherry Magazine, 1996) are her very first published works. She is the author of As if you Wrote Poetry (poetry collection, 2012), Knife Painting (short story collection, 2015), A Poem Writes A Woman (bilingual poetry collection, long poems, translated into English by Maung Day, 2017). Her poems, short stories, and articles are seen in a lot of poetry anthologies, periodicals, web pages, Facebook and eaindrar.blogspot.com.

She is also amongst the contributors of the Burma-based electronic arts journal Be Untexed.
