The Sylt Foundation is delighted to make one of the strong voices of Burmese contemporary poetry available in a new English translation.

This new poetry collection of Burmese poet Di Lu Galay integrates the essence of the Sylt Foundation's approach to collaboration.
A collaboration of Di with South African writer Maren Bodenstein enabled a new translation into English, the artworks of the artists Thu Kim Vu and Sally Whines add another layer and perspective to Di`s poems.
The collaboration with the Johannesburg Holocaust and Genocide Centre made this book possible as it is a product of our series: Voices Of Belonging and Resistance.
