The Syltfoundation develops and supports interdisciplinary art projects with artists from all over the world. Many projects are initiated as a collaboration of local artists and those, who are invited to Johannesburg and Sylt as part of the foundation's residency programme.
The Sylt Foundation has started a collaboration with the new electronic magazine Be Untexed
Be Untexed is a Burma-based electronic journal published quarterly in February, May, August, and November. It was founded in 2016 by Han Lynn, Nyan Lynn, Phyu Hnin Phway, and Nyi Sane. It publishes new writings and visual arts from any part of the world.
The idea behind this cooperation is to curate contributions of the vast Sylt Foundation´s network of artists, writers and poets and to expand our global network.
